This is a course which particularly complements History or English.  If you have an interest in current affairs, debating or arguing then this should be a choice for you.

The AS is focused upon how Britain is governed and how it can be improved.

The A2 element is more philosophical and examines political ideologies – that is, the ways in which people believe society should be organised.  Are you an anarchist, or a fascist or a liberal or a socialist?  What do these, and other, terms really mean?
