Refectory

The current refectory was built in 2005.  It is a purpose built, large, bright and well equipped resource.  There is a large indoor and outdoor seating area available for all pupils.

There is a wide selection of food available and meals can be purchased in advance.

Astro-turf

In 2007 we invested in a new astro-turf.  This has proved to be a real asset and is used in lessons for all our students, as well as for after school clubs.

Swimming Pool

Although only small, our pool is well used in the summer term.  Both primary and secondary staff take classes in the pool.  Again it is also used for an after school scuba diving club.

Outdoor Space

The school has a compact, yet attractive and safe outdoor area.  There area two further playing pitches, a covered, soft surface playground, a dedicated play area for the pre-school and reception pupils, and numerous water fountains.

School Hall

We have a large school hall, which was which was built in 1997, where all our students can come together for various occasions including assemblies.  These are held regularly and students often participate in them.  They are used as a means of celebrating success, and supporting St. Anthony’s house system.  Currently students are assigned a house, (Lorca or Cevantes) and they can gain house points for academic work and representing their house in sporting events throughout the year.

The hall is also used for school plays and shows, which are a large part of the school life.
