ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Either grade A/B in GCSE Physics or AA/BB in Dual Award Combined Science, plus a grade B or higher in GCSE Mathematics, or by individual negotiation.
COURSE CONTENT
The two year course takes students on a journey across the broadest syllabus in the school curriculum. Students learn about everyday situation and explore features as big as the universe or as small as sub-particle physics.

AS Level
Unit 1 Physics on the Go
Unit 2 Physics at Work
Unit 3 Exploring Physics
A Level All of the above plus 3 further units:
Unit 4 Physics on the Move
Unit 5 Physics from Creation to Collapse
Unit 6 Experimental Physics.
Assessment
AS Level. Three, 1½ hour examinations taken at the end of Year 12.
A Level Three, 2 hour examinations taken at the end of Year 13.
