UNITS REQUIRED FOR AS
Unit 1. Participation in sports and recreation 50%– 1 ½ hour exam.
Unit 2. The critical sports performer 50%
Two Sports, as: performer leader or official
This AS Course allows students to specialise in two practical activities ether as a performer, leader or official.
UNITS REQUIRED FOR A2
Unit 3: Preparation for Optimum Sports Performance 50% - 2 hour exam.
Unit 4: The Developing Sports Performer 50%.

At A2 students specialise in one practical activity. Students who intend to study the course should regularly play a sport to a good competition standard.
