This new specification uses theories, models and ideas to develop scientific
explanations.
This approach encourages experiment and investigative activities in a range of
contexts, so students have to analyse and interpret data and resolve conflicting data.
Students try to appreciate the ways in which science is used to inform decision making
about issues to benefit society.
The course is designed to give access to university courses in Research, Veterinary,
Medicine, Nursing, and Sports.
